These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and LTG Innovations LLC, an Indiana limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"), for your use of the Chairtime app and related services ("Chairtime" or the "Service"). By creating an account or using Chairtime, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Chairtime is a tool for independent hair stylists and small salons to book appointments, keep client records, send appointment reminders from your own phone, and view basic business information. Chairtime is a scheduling and management tool. If you choose to take card payments with Tap to Pay on iPhone, those payments are processed by Stripe on your own Stripe account, and we do not take a cut of your earnings.
You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into this agreement to use Chairtime. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Chairtime is offered as a paid subscription. Subscriptions are purchased and billed through your Apple App Store account, and Apple's terms apply to that purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage, cancel, or turn off automatic renewal in your Apple App Store account settings. Because billing is handled by Apple, refunds are generally requested through Apple according to Apple's policies.
Chairtime lets you store information about your own clients, such as names, contact details, and appointment history. You decide what to enter. You are responsible for that information and for using it lawfully, including getting any consent you need from your clients before adding their details or sending them reminders. You confirm you have the right to store the client information you put into Chairtime.
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you agree not to:
Chairtime sends appointment confirmation and reminder text messages to clients about the appointments you book in Chairtime, and can also prepare a reminder for you to send from your own phone. Automated texts are only sent to a client who has signed up themselves on your Chairtime sign-up page; you cannot enable them for a client. You are responsible for the messages sent to your clients and for following any laws about contacting them.
The following terms apply to clients who receive text messages from Chairtime about their appointments:
The information and records you put into Chairtime remain yours. You give us permission to store and process that information as needed to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We work to keep Chairtime running well, but we do not promise it will always be available or error free. We may update, change, or pause features from time to time. We may also perform maintenance that makes the Service temporarily unavailable.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the extent allowed by law. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or be uninterrupted, secure, or error free. You are responsible for keeping your own records and for your business decisions.
To the extent allowed by law, LTG Innovations LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.
You can stop using Chairtime and delete your account at any time from inside the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm others or us. Canceling your subscription is handled through your Apple App Store account.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If the changes are significant, we will make a reasonable effort to let you know. Continuing to use Chairtime after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, unless the law requires otherwise.
