Chairtime is an appointment booking and salon management app made by LTG Innovations LLC, an Indiana limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information the app handles, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to hair stylists and salon professionals who create an account and use Chairtime to run their business.
Chairtime is built for the stylist who owns the account. The stylist is our customer. Clients of the stylist do not sign in to Chairtime and do not have their own accounts. Any client information in the app is entered by the stylist to help them run their own appointments.
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and the login credentials you create. We use this to give you access to your account and to contact you about the service.
Client records you enter. Chairtime lets you keep records for your own clients, such as client names, phone numbers or other contact details, appointment dates and times, and the services booked. You choose what to enter. This information belongs to your business, and you are responsible for handling it in line with any laws that apply to you.
Subscription and billing. Chairtime is sold as a paid subscription. Payment is processed by Apple through your App Store account. Apple handles the payment and your card details. The Chairtime app does not collect or store your card or bank numbers. We may receive limited information from Apple confirming that a subscription is active, such as a subscription status and an anonymized identifier, so we can unlock the app for you.
Basic technical information. Like most apps and websites, our servers may log standard technical data such as your device type, app version, and the date and time of requests. This helps us keep the service running and troubleshoot problems.
We do not sell your personal information or your clients' information. We do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing.
We use a small number of trusted providers to run Chairtime: our cloud hosting and database provider, which stores your data on our behalf; Twilio, which delivers text messages for the reminder program described below; Stripe, which processes card payments you take from your clients; and Apple, which processes your subscription payment as described above. These providers only process information to help us operate the service and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.
If you set up Tap to Pay on iPhone, you create your own Stripe account and Stripe verifies your identity and handles your payouts. Chairtime never sees or stores your clients' card numbers, your bank details, or your identity documents. Card details are read by your iPhone and sent directly to Stripe. We keep only a record of each payment's amount and status so it can appear in your revenue view.
Chairtime sends appointment confirmation and reminder text messages to clients about the appointments you book in Chairtime. Messages are only sent to a client who has signed up themselves on your Chairtime sign-up page (this site, /join/ followed by your link name), by entering their name and mobile number and ticking a consent box that names Chairtime and LTG Innovations LLC and links to this policy and the Terms. You cannot sign a client up on their behalf. For each sign-up we keep a record of the date and time, the mobile number, the exact wording the client agreed to, the page they used, and their device's IP address and browser identifier, so that consent can be shown if it is ever questioned. A client who has not signed up is never sent an automated message.
Clients receive one welcome text when they sign up, then a booking confirmation, a reminder about one week before the appointment, and a reminder on the morning of the appointment. Message frequency varies with how often a client books. Message and data rates may apply. A client can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and can get help by replying HELP or by emailing lgrayson990@gmail.com. After a client replies STOP, no further messages are sent to that number.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Phone numbers and text messaging opt-in consent are used only to send the appointment confirmations and reminders described here.
You can also send a reminder yourself. In that case the app opens your phone's own messaging app with the text prepared, and the message goes from your own device and phone number.
Your data is stored on managed cloud servers and protected in transit using standard encryption (HTTPS). We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep your account and the records in it for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your data as described below. When you delete your account, your account and its records are removed from our live systems right away. Copies held in our encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, in the account or settings area. Deleting your account removes your stylist profile and the client records and appointments stored under it from our active systems. Some information may remain for a short time in routine backups before it is overwritten, and we may keep limited records where the law requires it. Canceling your subscription is handled separately through your Apple App Store account settings.
Chairtime is a business tool intended for adults who run a salon or styling business. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will make a reasonable effort to let you know.
